Search-engine optimization depends on two main ranking factors: how well keywords perform in a page's title, headings, and body text, and how readable that content actually is. SEO-friendly site architecture means meaningful navigation and contextual links that create real relationships between pages, along with consistent metadata use throughout. None of this involves keyword stuffing or other manipulative tricks: it's simply the natural output of doing IA and content work well in the first place.

SEO isn't a separate discipline bolted onto IA after the fact, when the underlying labeling and structure are genuinely good, most of the SEO work is already done.
